“That’s What She Said” | Abstract Wall Art

“That’s What She Said” Completed in 2020.

The ephemeral nature of water gives rise to this series of contemporary abstract artworks exploring themes of watercolor and its fluid yet defining character. Artist Maxximillian Victorious builds layer upon layer of watercolor and texture, using washes and drips of color to bring an ethereal quality. By applying gradients of color then diluting it away, she reveals moving stories expressed in drips and ebbs of aubergine, raspberry, cranberry and unique shades of cement grey.
