In one sentence

This site sets no cookies, does not track you, sells nothing, and uses no third-party advertising or analytics tools. Our audience measurement is built in-house, anonymous, and runs on our own server.

Audience measurement

To know how many people visit the site, we record for each page view:

• the page viewed, the language and the device type (mobile or desktop);
• the country, derived from the IP address using a local database, without the IP address itself ever being stored;
• the referring site, if any;
• an anonymous technical fingerprint, recomputed every day, which lets us count unique visitors without ever identifying a person.

No cookie is set and no permanent identifier is created. That is why this site shows no consent banner.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f) in measuring our own site's audience anonymously. Retention: 24 months maximum.

Contact form

If you write to us through the “Stake your claim” form, your name, email address and message reach us by email and are used solely to reply to you.

Legal basis: your consent. Retention: 3 years after our last exchange.

Claim certificate

The claim number and name you enter to generate your certificate are stored only in your browser (local storage). They are never sent to our servers.

Recipients

No data is sold, rented or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Our only technical providers are our host (Hostinger, European Union) and Google Fonts for typeface delivery.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data. Because our audience data is anonymous, it cannot identify you; these rights therefore mainly apply to email exchanges.
